Our Programs
We have two campuses just two blocks apart in Santa Monica. Our South Campus is home to our 2-year-olds, and our North Campus houses our preschool students in the 3s, 4s, and Pre-K programs.
Baby Group-
Our Caregiver & Me Program
age 12-24 months
Our Baby Class is a caregiver-present program for 1–2 year olds held outdoors at The Playgroup House. Designed as a gentle bridge into the drop-off experience, it centers on warm, relationship-driven play where caregivers join their child in exploration of sensory materials and developmentally appropriate toys. Our Directors facilitate conversation, share practical parenting tips, and are available to answer questions about milestones, separation, and what to expect next.
Each session is child-led and full of inviting sensory materials, new toys, and simple art provocations and activities thoughtfully chosen to spark curiosity. There’s truly no “wrong” way to participate; we learn about each child through careful observation and follow their interests. Because we often get delightfully messy, please pack an extra outfit and bring your questions, because this class is as much for caregivers as it is for the children.

South Campus-
The Playgroup House

Our 2s program is thoughtfully designed for the needs of emerging toddlers, with a focus on warmth, connection, and developmentally appropriate exploration. We create an individualized separation plan for each child, honoring their unique temperament, family rhythm, and readiness. Children learn through open-ended play, sensory experiences, early social interactions, and gentle routines that help them build independence at their own pace.

North Campus-
The Playgroup Preschool
(3-5 years)
Our preschool campus offers a rich, play-based curriculum rooted in curiosity and hands-on exploration. We are a child-led program, following children’s interests, questions, and ideas to shape meaningful learning experiences. Through projects, early literacy and math invitations, creative arts, outdoor discovery, and collaborative problem-solving, children grow into confident, capable learners who feel deeply seen and supported.
